The Morale Dept. was established in January, 2022.
Our first year was a working experiment. Our hypothesis was as follows:

We can find work:
• where we create, experience and share JOY!
• makes us enough MONEY to meet our needs
• that allows for MOBILITY so that we may stay connected to our families and ourselves.

Though we knew the capitalist structures in which we existed might prove our hypothesis unsound, we remained hopeful and dedicated to its thorough and rigorous testing. So, did we pull it off ?!? Going forward, we have decided to take the financial burden off of The Morale Dept. and get jobs/work individually (outside of TMD) that provide us with the income we will live off of. The Morale Dept. will shift its focus to pursuing only our favorite kind of paid work (short bursts of advice, design, organizing and joyful assaults!) and use the income generated there to fund our artsy stuff.
